That aside, let's start with the main topic of this post. OOTDs for this week~ :3 (Would it be OOTW? Outfits of the week? Who knows) I've given myself the topic of casual T-shirts. It's one of those pieces of clothing that's always in our wardrobes, regardless of what your fashion style is. It is so simple and it goes well with pretty much everything. Here are some ways I like to wear them. I stuck to two types of T-shirts this time around.
(Warning: Bad quality photos coming up :P One day the quality will be better once I get a tripod and I can actually use my camera. *EDIT: yaaay tripod from JB Hifi~ It was only $24 too :3)

I initially had commentary under each of the days, but there are so many overlapping things that I decided to write a overall one.
There's no question that T-shirt is the basics of casual styles. T-shirts go well with basically anything as long as the colour isn't dramatic. On the other hand, dramatic colours can give a nice pop to the outfit. You can see that the colours of most of my outfit are quite monotone and nothing really stands out. This can fixed with small colour accessories like headbands, or bags, or shoes :3
Another point is that if the top is loose, I prefer tighter bottoms, and vice versa. It generally give you a nicer silouette in my opinion. Tight x tight is good too :3.
Also, a very important point that I keep in mind:
I have long torso in comparison to legs, so I always try to make my legs look longer ahahaha. I really like the clean look of a simple T-shirt with pants or jeans but it doesn't suit my short legs unfortunately :(
Other examples of coordinates with T-shirts:

T-shirt with same coloured skirt http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/62/98/34/6298342df87c44f8dce78e2975b5d88e.jpg This is a good idea I came across that I've never tried. Having two of the same colour make it seem as if those two were meant to come in a set. I find it really cool~ |
