[Review] GEO Mimi Cafe Latte Brown [Circle Lenses]

Obligatory edited selfie at the start of the post :3

Hey everyone! I've recently ordered a bunch of contacts from HoneyColor because of their amazing Cyber Monday sale <3 50% off contacts are awesome :3

But,

I'm not planning to open any of them until one of my current ones expire.

So today, I'm going to be doing a review of Geo Mimi Cafe Latte Brown lenses. I bought these in a store in Adelaide, but you can find these lenses in most of the circle lens stores online.

Please keep in mind that my eyes are very very dark, so some of the points may not apply to some of you. :3

Specifications
Usage: 1 year
Base Curve: 8.7mm
Diametre: 15.0mm
Water Content: 38%

Size Comparison
Top: No contact on left eye
Bottom: Both eyes with contacts

Various Lighting

Top: Flash
Middle: No flash, natural light
Bottom: Natural sun light

Summary
Colour: 4/5
The colour of the lenses doesn't show up much in normal settings for my eyes, but I expect that a lot for brown lenses since my eyes are very dark. The colour won't be as light as the yellows in the first picture, but you can vaguely see the pattern in most lighting. They only really pop in brighter lighting.

Enlargement: 5/5
These make your eyes look larger in an instant. 15mm lenses are the largest ones that I'm comfortable with. Also, I reckon if the lenses were any larger it wouldn't fit through my eyes :P

Naturalness: 4/5
I like how the outer rim is dark brown, which make it look more natural than black rimmed circle lenses while still enlarging the eyes. In brighter lights, the pattern is more obvious.

Comfort:  5/5
I can wear these contacts for over 10 hours before they feel dry, and they are very comfortable. After 12 hours or so, it does get irritating for my eyes but that is way beyond the recommended time to wear circle lenses.

Overall: 4.5/5
One of my favourite lenses that I almost wear daily. It doesn't matter much if the pattern doesn't show up on normal daily basis, but they are comfortable to wear over along time, and looks quite natural in most settings. I would recommend these to anyone first trying out circle lenses, or anyone looking for lenses that can be worn on a near daily basis.

Made in Asia Update! Variety Concert 2014

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the much lack of update. The one simple excuse is that I've been very lazy. You know the feeling when there's nothing planned, you just absolutely feel like doing nothing. I should stop doing that.

Yesterday it was the annual Variety Concert at my high school. Since I was back in town, there was no way I wouldn't visit my kouhai's performances ;) <3

First thing I noticed upon getting to the school was that.......I didn't recognise half of the people in school, which is to be expected but I didn't realise until then. Then I also noticed something awesome. There's new people in the dance crew!!!

The new kids are so good as well! It was really fun joining them backstage, watching them practice. The performance was amazing. The video should be up soon on YouTube. I'll link it on this post when it does.

EDIT: Here's the link to the video [YouTube]

Here are some photos that I had fun taking and playing around with editing.

It was a fun afternoon and really made me miss dancing....hope to do more dance next year!
.....I should start making New Years Resolutions ahaha.

Shameless advertising of the group.
